IJM Land Launches ‘MAD’ Campaign, up to RM40 Million Savings in Deals for Property Buyers

IJM Corp has been a mainstay in the construction and investment holding industries for decades. It first came onto the scene in 1983, and then made a big entrance in property development when it established its IJM Land subsidiary in 1989.

Since its establishment in 1983, IJM Corp has emerged as a prominent global player in various sectors, including construction, heavy industry, toll, and port infrastructure. Complementing this legacy, it has made a significant mark in property development when it established IJM Land, a subsidiary founded in 1989.

IJM Land has forged an extraordinary path, achieving unparalleled success over the years, steadily scaling to prominence in an already competitive arena. This rise is driven by the enduring draw of real estate as steadfast investment bastions and tangible assets contributing to a sustainable environment.

But what’s the key to this success?

At the core of it all, it’s about fostering consumer trust with integrity, underpinned by a commitment to value creation.

In a bid to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and community engagement, IJM Land has just launched the Make A Difference (MAD) campaign, echoing IJM Corp’s 40th anniversary.

Its distinguished portfolio of award-winning residential projects and integrated townships on its roster of achievements are a testament to IJM Land's diverse experience. It follows the mindset that property development doesn’t just involve construction—it also focuses heavily on urban planning and sustainability.

Following this philosophy, which fuses nature and innovation to produce eco-conscious designs, IJM Land has significantly contributed to the group’s success.

IJM Land customers are able to take advantage of the exclusive promotional packages during the MAD campaign, spanning more than 22 projects in the Klang Valley, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak.

From now until December 31, 2023, new IJM Land homeowners can hop on the super savers promotion, with up to RM40 million in savings for new buyers of participating projects under IJM Land.

To sweeten these deals, IJM Land is offering extra benefits at zero cost, such as zero legal fees, zero MOT, zero maintenance fees, zero installment fees, and much more at participating IJM Land projects—subject to IJM Land terms and conditions.

Here are some of the participating projects:

Located in Bandar Utama Sandakan, these two-storey bungalows sit on 395 acres of prime land. Once you step inside one of these bungalows, you'll be taken aback by the sensational living experience they have to offer.

If you're an existing IJM Land customer in the IJM Land Priority Programme, you can also enjoy a tier-upgrade with extra rebate on your next property purchase during this campaign period. This cool benefit is an add-on to existing rates, whether you're a platinum, gold, or silver member. It’s a form of gratitude and appreciation from the developer to its loyal residents and homeowners.

In line with IJM Land’s fundamental philosophy of effecting positive change and transformation, the MAD campaign aims to embark on a renewed, more energetic charge towards sustainable development.

IJM has committed itself to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, as outlined in its climate strategy.

As part of the MAD campaign, you can expect immersive eco-centric events, as well as multi-region collaborations, symbolizing an expansion into untapped territories.

The ultimate goal: Encouraging the act of recycling by collecting more than 40,000kg of recyclable materials in 40 million steps, conserving natural resources as a result. This will be done by mobilizing the entire IJM community.

The first 4,000 people, or ‘eco-champions’, to reach 10,000 weekly steps (40 million total steps in a week as a whole) will also receive a token of appreciation from participating projects.

This commitment to environmental good also complements the MAD campaign’s aim to distribute over 4,000 plants, nurturing a greener future.

“We have envisioned the MAD campaign as a new cornerstone in transformative execution and delivery,” says IJM Land CEO Datuk Wong Tuck Wai.

“Our objective is to build sustainable environments infused with positivity that enrich communities and lives. It does not signify the culmination of a journey but rather the inception of a new and promising chapter.”

IJM Land also plans to gear up its corporate social responsibility efforts by contributing 4,000 hours to society initiatives like community clean-ups, blood donation drives, welfare home and orphanage visits, as well as home refurbishing for low-income families.

“IJM Land stands firm as the vanguard of sustainable development, sowing the seeds of eco-friendly living while harmonizing progress with eco-conscious responsibility. Each home we build seamlessly combines aesthetics, comfort, and functionality,” said Wong.

“Today, as we celebrate our parent company’s remarkable achievement and resilience, we pledge to raise the bar alongside our community. A robust demand persists due to these strong underlying fundamentals which will steadfastly support the property market.”

Fostering inclusivity and uplifting marginalized communities is the name of the game.

Further bolstering this initiative are workshops that focus on gadget refurbishment, educational talks revolving around the trending art of upcycling furniture, as well as strategic engagements that encourage people to transform their daily actions and routines to align with green initiatives.
