Best Buy's Black Friday event is here.

The nine-day affair will run from Nov. 17 (a week before the actual holiday) through Saturday, Nov. 25, and feature a bevy of deals across a wide variety of categories, from tech to home goods and more.

That calendar concludes with a Cyber Monday Savings Event featuring "savings [of] up to 50% on top gifts" from Sunday, Nov. 26 to Monday, Nov. 27 (or actual Cyber Monday), but additional deals will likely succeed it. Last year, Best Buy hosted a series of 24-hour flash sales called 20 Days of Deals throughout December.

Best Buy was the first major retailer to announce its Black Friday plans on Oct. 17 (followed by Target, Walmart, and finally Amazon), and it's been the busiest so far: Alongside its Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, Best Buy is dishing out elusive releases and exclusive discounts as part of its new app-exclusive Best Buy Drop program throughout the holidays. It's also hosting a new series of livestreamed holiday shopping events spotlighting popular gift ideas and some limited-time deals.

All Best Buy Black Friday deals are available in limited quantities with no rain checks, and items that sell out right away may not get restocked later on. This is especially true for any Drops, so be ready.

Below, we're keeping a running list of the best Black Friday deals at Best Buy. Check back often, because we'll be continuously updating it throughout the sale.

Heads up: Best Buy sometimes messes with products' original prices, making deals appear better or worse than they actually are, so we cross-check its listings with brand and manufacturer sites whenever possible. Budget-friendly OLED TVs are relatively rare — as are discounts that exceed the 50% mark among big-name brands like LG. This is a match of a members-only deal we first saw during Best Buy's 48-Hour Flash Sale in mid-October, which was meant to compete with Prime Big Deal Days (Amazon's October Prime Day sale).

Why we like it

Geared toward basic web browsing, email sending, and document creation, this 15.6-inch Acer Chromebook has an older Intel Celeron N4020 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of eMMC storage, a 12.5-hour battery life, and a 720p webcam. It also comes with its own fabric case. Best Buy will probably drop a sub-$100 Chromebook at some point during its Black Friday sale —?we saw a $79 one last year —?but for now, this is the cheapest laptop it's offered this season.
